"While they hope to be united in marriage, the wedding was tearing them apart".
Derek and Christine are 2 weeks away from their wedding and the struggle is still on for ends to meet financially. Christine took matters into her hands and made her own veil. she walked into the hall to find a very depressed Derek, carrying some news that will shake her entire being.

Synopsis.
"Refuge" is based on the ironies of "Ballad of Birmingham" by Dudley Randall and revolves around a care group for victims of domestic violence, conducted by Dr. Adam.
His two patients, Jerome and David both had their fare share of a dark, disturbing and traumatizing childhood. Jerome witnessed the abuse of his mother which brought upon her suicide. David on the other hand was sold to be sexually exploited as a child. Even so, they seem to differ when it comes to their perspective of life and how their past have affected them.

Synopsis.
On the 24th of August 2011, something really horrible happened that it dragged Emily to a possible death penalty at the face of justice.
Ironically, throughout the trial, it became more and more evident that Emily is there for all the wrong reasons. She is a kind-hearted 19 year old girl whom is very pleasing in her ways.
Still, it was not revealed the true reason why she was brought to trial or why she is now hanging on for her life. The answer will baffle you.
